a little bit about a-frame pottery

Hi! We’re Rachel and Eric, the founders of A-Frame Pottery. We created our garage pottery studio together in our cute A-Frame home in Los Angeles in 2020 . Eric brought 25 years of pottery expertise, and Rachel brought a new set of eyes and a creative vision for something bigger.

We made the leap and moved up to Vancouver, WA in 2021 in search of something new. We had a wonderful 3 years, building A-Frame Pottery into the business it is today, and making incredible memories.

As entertainment industry professionals, we are thrilled to be back in Southern California, and can’t wait to share our love of pottery with you.

  • Lead Potter

    Eric’s pottery journey began in college in 2000. He ventured into a lucrative career in the entertainment industry, but pottery and snowboarding continued to be his passions.

    A loose leaf tea and dumpling connoisseur, Eric seeks out adventure and good asian eats anywhere he can.

  • Glaze Queen

    Aside from some high school classes, Rachel’s pottery journey began in 2020, when Eric re-introduced her to his favorite hobby. She has taken the lead on glazing and the creative design of AFP as a whole.

    When she isn’t busy working as a lighting designer, Rachel is on the hunt for the best coffee shop & local boutique, or planning out their next vacation.

  • Branch Manager

    An essential member of the team, Lux spends her days eating persimmon tree branches in the sun, or lounging upside down on the couch.

    She is a lady of comfort, and will find any way to be by your side at all times.
